Big Girl

We have our 1 month appointment on Monday, already! This week was a big week for us, as Josie wore her last NB size outfit AND we made the transition into her Big-Girl Crib. Like I said, BIG week. Next week we will try to transition back into full-time breastfeeding (I am currently pumping and bottle feeding during the day and breast-feeding at night--will explain in upcoming post). Josie is growing like a weed and has developed her Gurgles, Coos, and Squeeks that make us smile every day. We even get a smile out of her a few times every day--and I swear she laughs at people (mostly at inappropriate times).
The growing out of NB clothes and into 0-3mo came out of nowhere! I swear I had just tested out a few outfits the other day that were still too big and by the next day she was wearing them! Funny thing is her feet have already outgrown 0-3mo footies, so its socks and footless PJs/Outfits for us!
Josie is such a social baby and LOVEs to just be with and around people, so I was worried about her sleeping in her room alone. She has done better than I thought, but there is once every night so far that she just wants to be cuddled or held--for the rest of the night mind you. But I am happy to do it. The first night I swear I stared at her monitor for 30minutes straight before closing my eyes. I made it through half the night before giving in and going to sleep in her room (I think that was more for me). The second night I was able to sleep in my bed all night (minus the ups and downs for feeding and diapers). But last night, she was so cuddly, that I spent the entire night in her room.
Baby cries call me away to do Mommy stuff....more to come.
